On 25 September 2024, the OptFORESTS project was highlighted as a model of successful project application during the Information Day for Horizon Europe Cluster 6, organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation in Slovenia. The event took place at the National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana and attracted a diverse group of researchers, professionals, and stakeholders interested in the bioeconomy, food systems, natural resources, agriculture, and environmental management.

During a panel discussion, representatives from OptFORESTS shared insights into the project's innovative approach and achievements, showcasing it as a good practice within the Horizon Europe framework. This recognition underscores the project's commitment to advancing sustainable forestry and bioeconomic practices.
